v0.8.0 released!
Hello! Announcing the release of 0.8.0, as promised right on February 16th.
Changes primarily are in the underlying architecture, and the user interface... if I were better at marketing, I'd be writing two or three pages about this. But I'm not.
The major improvements from the end-user point of view include the ability to create a new handle from the editor, by editing the storage.tres resource used by Node2DGizmo, and a cleaner interface in the EditorNode2DGizmoPlugin class.
Now, I want to take care of the known issues, and make the process of adding handles through the editor better. I might release some patches here and there, but as I am still unemployed, I expect progress on this will slow down a little bit.
That said, I'm still paying attention and I am eager to hear feedback on the tool, particularly if you are unhappy with it or if it can be tweaked to better fit your workflow. All of my "playtesting" has been in my own projects.
